The Division of Mathematics and Natural Sciences seeks to be academically sound in all its disciplines (Biology, Chemistry, Computer Science, Earth Science, Mathematics and Physics), to be a major scientific and technical resource, to provide a high quality education using modern equipment and instructional techniques and to equip students for success in professional pursuits or graduate school and ultimately in a global environment and in a knowledge-based economy.

Biology
The Biology program provides a rigorous curriculum which enables students to develop an understanding of and an appreciation for the diversity of living organisms and their structure, function, and interactions. Most courses emphasize laboratory and/or field activities.
